| This is an ONLINE CLASS - that means it is MORE WORK than a so--called regular class. If you can not do all these things in the first week, then maybe you should not be in this class. We will use eTudes EVERY week, so no excuses. If all this is too much, please drop the course NOW! |

| Week 1 Checklist and Student Statement for the ONLINE Class! 1. Register for the class. Buy the Text book. If you buy it at the LACC bookstore it comes with the Califorina Government Text inside. If you buy the text used also buy any current California Government text. 2. Go to the Class Home Page/Syllabus and READ IT and READ the Assignments Page. Read the Welcome Message. And read all the web pages linked from those web pages. 3. Get on eTudes (directions are on the Class Home Page). Confirm your email address and post a "hello" message on the "Week One Sign In" in the class discussion section on eTudes. DO NOT START A NEW TOPIC. 4. After you have done all of the above and can honestly attest to everything in the student statement (Below) - copy it and paste it into the proper placein eTudes in the assignment section. Make sure you put your FULL NAME and Section Number) where it belongs (2 places) and email it to me - DO NOT ATTACH anything.
